Finally, a REAL use for the iPhone…

As if YouTube wasn’t enough of a waste of time… how cool is this? Super Mario Bros. (or any of the classic NES games) on your iPhone!!!

Shameless plug for Ebates.com

We can both get $10 if you put my email as a referral at THIS LINK and buy something online by March 15. I just got my first check today for $105.19! And I’ve got at least $20 coming next quarter. It’s easy. Anytime you shop online, check to see if the store you are shopping at is listed on Ebates.com. If you click through from Ebates, they will pay a rebate based on your purchase. Every quarter you get a check in the mail. Sweet!

The list is in…

It’s the most wonderful time…
I just know that you’ve all been waiting… My Christmas list is now online! More additions are likely to come.
And just in case you were wondering, the Stickney project is showing signs of hope again! More to follow next week…

Taxes

It is finished. Another late night e-file. Apparently, we don’t pay enough taxes. Arg!

Very Intriguing…

This weekend, I saw far more of my 2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue than I ever thought I would. She needed a tune up, and Shawnee’s brother Phil offered to show me how to do it. So, with some (OK, a lot of) guidance, I changed the spark plugs, the fuel filter, the PCV and changed the transmission fluid and filter. Not particularly difficult to do, just time consuming and I wouldn’t have had a clue what to do without Phil’s guidance. Also looked at the back brakes, but there is still plenty of pad there, so we didn’t change those. About $100 in parts that would have $500 or so at a shop or dealership. Thank you, Phil!
Another fun (and educational) weekend up north.
